Job: Associate in Research - Benfey Lab at Duke University, Duke University, Durham, NC
The Benfey lab is a leading developmental biology lab located at Duke University. We are seeking to hire a full-time technician who will primarily work on a project examining single-cell gene expression in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. Duties will include preparation of single-cell RNA- Sequencing libraries, as well as tasks related to general molecular biology, and use/maintenance of a state of the art light sheet microscope. Training will be provided. This is a position suitable for a recent graduate seeking to obtain lab experience before graduate school, or anyone interested in working on a project using cutting edge technologies to help answer fundamental questions on developmental biology. Bachelor's degree in life sciences related field and experience in a molecular biology lab are required.
