Job Description
NuPulseCV (NP) is a medical device company with a global goal of changing the lives of patients with advanced heart failure. We are making a minimally invasive heart assist device that allows patients to be discharged from the hospital and live life at home doing the things they love to do. NP device has been implanted in 81 patients in the US and is planning to start a Phase 3 trial in the US.
Internship Activities*
The internship would include design/development of a heart failure med device:
Coordinate/lead parts inspection according to established design criteria
Test parts on test fixtures (or modify fixtures to meet test needs), generate and analyze test data, and write detailed reports.
Lead design change efforts if parts do not meet test requirements.
Present on the work performed with presentation
This internship requires a commitment of 40 hours per week over 8 weeks, and is available starting in June.

Job Requirements
NuPulseCV is seeking an undergraduate or graduate intern with an engineering background in:
Courses related to mechanical, electrical engineering, or similar multidisciplinary fields
Professional writing skills demonstrated with test protocols and reports)
Clear communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Collaborative working style
