Job Description

CasTag is a life science company in Durham, NC that has developed a breakthrough universal CRISPR Knock-In vector system that enables high-throughput gene functional studies for biological research. We will revolutionize protein analysis by becoming the first company to generate genome-scale CRISPR Knock-In arrayed libraries of research reagents that can rapidly enable a variety of experiments.

Internship Activities*
CasTag is looking for an intern to develop an algorithm for the deployment of a new genomic manufacturing process. The intern will gain experience in software coding and genomic sequence analysis and play a critical role in advancing the speed of R&D at CasTag Biosciences.

This internship requires a commitment of 20 hours per week over 12 weeks, and is available starting in April.

This internship is supported in part by a grant from the North Carolina Biotechnology Center through the Industrial Internship Program.

Job Requirements

Undergraduate or Graduate Program with Science and Engineering Background

Existing experience with data science and programming in a biological research lab preferred
