Job Description

Mimetics deploys advanced proprietary tools for analyzing time series gene expression data to help companies and researchers develop microbial and plant strains and improve production processes such as fermentation. Our clients are major Biotech and AgBio companies and University Researchers.

Internship Activities*
The internship project will involve identification of companies that are using biological production processes to develop new products for food and agriculture.

This internship requires a commitment of 15 hours per week over 8 weeks, and is available starting in June.

This internship is supported in part by a grant from the North Carolina Biotechnology Center through the Industrial Internship Program.

Job Requirements

Required: BS in Biology and completion of lab courses in microbiology and molecular biology. Preferred: Some experience in market analysis (eg 1 yr of MBA).
