Technology Transfer Scientist I/II

Research and Development
Under general guidance, performs and documents Technology Transfer activities for Design Control Phase 1, 2 and Phase 3 projects. Tasks may include operation and maintenance of specialized process equipment including plate coating, chromatography, environmental chamber, filling and lyophilization equipment. Ability to analyze proper scale-up and large scale manufacturing requirements for transfer to routine production. Ability to execute long term projects. Perform verifications and validations from inception to completion for processes, products and/or equipment. Complies with safety requirements, current Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
Requires a MS degree or BS degree with equivalent experience.
Knowledge of GxP requirements.
Knowledge of assay development, ELISA assays and chromatography.
Experience with cell culture technique including bioreactors.
Interpersonal skills to include strong oral and written communication, experience in training, flexibility, and organization.
Experience with protein biochemistry, purification and development.
