Job Description


Job Purpose / Summary
Responsible for staffing and managing Real World Evidence (RWE) Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Ensure that the Project Managers and Project Coordinators deliver their projects on time, on budget and with an acceptable level of quality. The RWE Manager of Project Management will collaborate with multiple global departments leads and clients. RWE programs include but are not limited to global multi-center observational programs, natural history studies, as well as many other programs that generate evidence from various data sources to support product approval and reimbursement.


What You'll Do
Collaborate with Executive Director of RWE and other members of RWE Management Team on planning, assigning, and directing billable work assignments to PM/PCs
Facilitate the management of multiple projects from the planning phase to the analysis phase for delivery to client
Ensure that assigned PM/PCs coordinate project organization and implement and manage activities between all functional areas and the client
Oversee preparation of the project plan, project timelines and various other documents associated with program; ensure project activity compliance with plan; suggest and implement alternative solutions to problems with project timelines, schedules, resources, budgets, etc and take corrective action where necessary
Ensure that appropriate project management tools are used in order to track and report on project progress/metrics; ensure timely entry of project information throughout the life of the project.
Plan and conduct orientation for new PM/PCs to foster positive attitudes toward project goals
Communicate regularly with RWE Management Team to ensure adequate staffing and consistent implementation of company policies and procedures
Provide Executive Director with regular feedback on issues relating to oversight of performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems
Interact and collaborate with multi-disciplinary and multi-country CTI colleagues and clients
Coordinate and conduct PM/PC training to manage a variety of RWE projects, including, but not limited to strategic consulting, protocol development, feasibility, gap analysis, database analysis, global observational programs, economic evaluation and market access
Assist with identifying, developing, and coordinating delivery of training for PM/PCs; Work to ensure processes and procedures are being followed and serve as resource in this area
Coordinate appropriate PM/PC representation needed for both internal and Sponsor audits
May serve as a “reviewer” of deliverables and documents for various programs
Manage and track all Project Team assignments for PM/PCs to ensure projects are properly resourced, meet client’s expectations with regard to scope, quality, timelines and budget
May participate in recruitment process of RWE team members
Maintain and deliver appropriate trackers and status reports to management

Job Requirements


Bachelor degree in allied health fields such as nursing, pharmacy, or health science
5 years of experience in conducting or leading clinical or RWE trials
Practical experience in conducting research with biotech, pharmaceutical company or Contract Research Organization (CRO)
