Proposal & Marketing Specialist - Full Time

Groninger USA is looking for an energetic, creative, experienced professional with technical background to spearhead our marketing activities and coordinate our proposals for North America. You will be a key contributor to the success of our business development. Together with our highly experienced Sales Managers, the Director Sales Support and our Marketing team in Europe, you will coordinate proposal production, employ multiple communication formats to build brand awareness, spread knowledge about our exciting products and service solutions and build/support campaigns to win new business. Furthermore, we see a coming need for expanding our Sales force and should you be interested, this position would be the perfect way to grow into such a role.
Responsibilities will include:
*Coordinate all aspects of the proposal preparation and production in support of the Director of Sales Support to ensure accurate and timely delivery of compelling proposals: schedules, assignments, content, proofing, approvals and distribution
*Provide a professional layout for proposals, contribute content in line with the general marketing messaging
*Generate product and solution documents, informative customer surveys and information campaigns
*Contribute to regular updates of the company marketing plan, ensuring a professional, well-planned approach
*Use social and print media to spread information, find new potential customers and opportunities
*From time to time, accompany a Sales Manager for customer visits
*Assist with internal communication
*Bachelor’s degree preferably in technical and marketing or communications discipline
*3-5 years’ experience in product marketing, proposal development and/or equipment sales
*Well-organized, friendly, highly reliable and professional
*Ability to take initiative and to be persuasive and persistent
*Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
*Strong attention to detail with constant consideration of spelling, grammar and quality
*Strong organizational, time management and project prioritization skills
*Desire to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and handle changing priorities smoothly, without supervision
*Ability to manage others
*Graphic design capability
