Job Description
BioAesthetics
is focused on transforming lives through advancements in biomaterials. Currently, BioAesthetics is translating a product to be used in regenerating the nipple-areolar complex for mastectomy patients.
Internship Activities*
Responsibilities may include: Data logging, tissue/cells processing (human and animal/rodent), prepping tissue for analysis, cell culture, cataloging histological samples, and likely compiling data for reports. This position will allow for exposure to translational research and R&D activities. This intern will work closely with our R&D scientists/engineers.
This internship requires a commitment of 25 hours per week over 12 weeks, and is available starting in May (Start/ end dates are flexible, depending on applicant availability).

Job Requirements
This posting is open to undergraduate or graduate level with a background/interest in science.

• Good communicator
• Ability to work in solo and team environments
• Ability to initiate and manage day-to-day tasks effectively, including multi-tasking, flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to problem-solve in a creative and effective manner
• Ability to organize and present data
• Some experience/comfort in physical science laboratory setting
• Must be comfortable/ willing to handle tissues/cells from both human and animal sources (appropriate training will be provided/mandatory). No experience required, but preferred
• Knowledge of and experience working with biologically-derived ECM, polymers, and/or biocompatible materials is desirable. Not experience required, but preferred.
