Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our overall marketing efforts. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that effectively position our global organization. Together with the Marketing Specialist, the Marketing Department will deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt to marketing trends and generate creative ideas to provide useful content to the VeraSci customer base. They should be well versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics. The goal is to deliver compelling marketing programs that effectively position the VeraSci brand and services and drive lead generation.

• Work with the executive team to develop a comprehensive integrated marketing strategy
• Develop and lead tactical implementation of the marketing strategy for media channels including social, email, digital, print, and other traditional media
• Maintain metrics and analytics across marketing campaigns; analyze and extract insight to provide recommendations for continual improvement
• Lead the writing, editing, design, and distribution of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to email campaigns, blogs, social media, one-pagers, webinars, and press releases.
• Manage corporate website and increase traffic through strategic content development, SEO and analytics insight
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns end-to-end, managing of list segmentation, campaign deployment, tracking and optimizing
• In coordination with the Marketing Specialist, maintain VeraSci’s social media accounts
• Write press releases and engage media outlets for PR opportunities
• Brainstorm and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative marketing campaigns and tactical plans for lead generation
• Ensure all content produced is online with brand guidelines
• Work with vendors/agencies as needed to deliver high quality deliverables
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
• At least 8 years of marketing or communications experience
• Experience with content development, social media and email marketing campaigns
• Proficient in the use of computers, particularly marketing technology applications and platforms – Act-On and Salesforce would be a plus
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite – Strong PowerPoint skills are a must
• Ability to focus in a high energy environment with shifting priorities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Event and/or tradeshow planning experience
• Ability to understand and simplify complex information
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work w/ others in a highly collaborative work environment
• General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and drug development a plus
