Scientist – Biochemistry and Diagnostic Development

We are seeking a versatile and self-motivated scientist to join our team as a Scientist to help develop our new technology platforms and translate original research into cutting-edge medical devices and in vitro diagnostics. The successful applicant will be one who thrives on benchwork, enjoys thinking both critically and creatively about research and can push research to product.

Responsibilities
• Identify and develop peptide reagents for multiple medical and diagnostic applications
• Lateral flow and bead-based assay development
• Team member of an integrated research and product development group
• Strategize with the scientific teams to optimize research plans
• Assist in scientific manuscript and abstract preparations
• Clinical study design and implementation

Job Requirements


Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in biochemistry, clinical chemistry, or protein chemistry
• Experience in immunoassay invention and development, protein and antibody purification and conjugation required
• Immunoassay validation experience an advantage
• Must be able to work on projects of a multidisciplinary nature
• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, creative, adaptable and able to work in a team environment
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms
• Ability to meet deadlines and commitments
• Willingness and ambition to learn and take on responsibilities
• Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
