Cancer Diagnostics, Inc. (CDI) currently has a full-time position open for a manufacturing technician. This position is in a fast-paced environment that requires drive and a high attention to detail. To properly perform the duties that come with the job, you will need to be able to be on your feet for entire 8 hour shifts, lift objects up to 50 pounds, read, write and understand internal documentation and follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for established standard operating procedures and manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will be expected to be trained on and perform a variety of manufacturing activities ranging from product assembly and product filling to direct product manufacturing. The candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, be able to work in variable temperatures and be willing to be flexible with the work needs of the company. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance are essential to the position. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but not absolutely required. Mechanical inclination (working with various types of equipment) and high attention to detail will be highly valued in this position. Any type of scientific-based laboratory experience is also a plus, including familiarity with pH meters, viscometers, and precise measurements using scales and laboratory volumetric glassware. The successful candidate should have the ability to use a computer and have a working knowledge of basic computer programs (MS Word and MS Excel). The successful candidate should have effective communication skills and be proficient in reading, writing, and basic math skills.
