Research & Development Engineer

An opportunity exists to join a research team developing and deploying technology for brain stimulation. Brain stimulation devices are increasingly used to study the brain, treat neurological and psychiatric disorders, and enhance cognitive performance. This is a full-time position with University Benefits and provides exceptional opportunities for exposure to exciting engineering projects in both research and clinical settings. The position involves interactions with a multidisciplinary team of engineering, neuroscience, and clinical researchers, as well as collaborating companies. We seek a motivated individual who is interested and experienced in hands-on development and support of electronic instrumentation. Skills commensurate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering are required, including hands-on experience with design, simulation, mechanical construction, programming, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware. Additional assignments may include procurement and lab resources management. The candidate must be meticulous in carrying out and documenting assignments.
