About this Job
Path BioAnalytics, Inc. (PBA) is an emerging biotech company based in Chapel Hill, NC. PBA is seeking a laboratory technician to perform and manage human cell culture experiments. The company is developing assays and databases for precision medicine by combining innovative epithelial cell culture technology with proprietary analytics.

Our cell culture platform's ability to measure drug response in primary epithelial tissue offers significant benefits over competing technologies in terms of speed, accuracy and biological relevance. These benefits help our partners--pharmaceutical companies and academic researchers--make more informed decisions about drug development and testing.

In order for our partners to fully leverage these benefits, PBA is optimizing planar and 3D cell culture production from primary biopsies and established cell lines to increase the efficiency of our services. Your work will have a significant impact on the trajectory of research and drug development across multiple disease types. You will work with a small interdisciplinary team of scientists to develop custom solutions to critical health problems.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, experienced in using sterile tissue culture technique, flexible, able to work in a team setting and independently with minimum supervision and will be interested in learning novel tissue culture procedures and analysis techniques.
