bioMASON is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer. This is a Fulltime Associate position, responsible for the development and coordination of production scale manufacturing systems for bioMASON technologies and products. This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
Bachelor Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field of study.
Minimum 5years professional work experience in manufacturing systems design.
Responsibilities, Tasks and Outcomes:
Coordination with internal teams, external consultants, and vendors for the design, construction, and operation of production scale manufacturing systems.
Documentation and project management.
Travel to manufacturing sites for onsite coordination, troubleshooting, and commissioning of new
and existing systems.
Participation in internal development of novel manufacturing technologies including mobile
systems of manufacturing.
Energy consumption analysis and optimization.
Handson experimentation and assembly of internal prototypes and demonstration systems.
Performing other duties assigned by your supervisor
Required Skills and Interests:
Demonstrable experience in production scale materials handling including conveyors and motion systems.
Ability to design and coordinate fluid storage and delivery systems including pump systems, manifolds, and valve control.
Experience in process control and data collection systems.
Understanding of lowvoltage DC and 3phase industrial power systems.
Computeraided design and simulation software skills.
Understanding and ability to implement of regulatory safety standards and compliance (e.g.
Ability to work on small team under tight deadlines
