bioMASON is seeking a Materials Testing and Applications Engineer. This is a Fulltime Associate position, responsible for the routine performance testing of bioMASON building material products, ensuring conformance to established standards (e.g. ASTM, ISO), and the development of new testing methods as required. This position reports to the bioAPPLICATION Scientist and the Chief Technology Officer.
Bachelor Degree or higher in Civil Engineering
Minimum 2years work experience in a materials testing laboratory.
Responsibilities, Tasks and Outcomes:
Research, development, and implementation of materials testing standards.
Routine materials testing and performance analysis.
Formal documentation of performance data.
Coordination and internal dissemination of performance data for product development.
Observation and analysis of material performance for new product development.
Performing other duties assigned by your supervisor
Required Skills and Interests:
Experience in ASTM materials testing as related to concrete, stone, and masonry building materials and construction assemblies.
Demonstrable data management and analysis skills.
Ability to maintain and calibrate testing systems and equipment.
Ability to work on small team under tight deadlines
